Scott Burden, a lifelong school friend of Paul’s, is undertaking a gruelling bike ride to help raise funds. Scott lives in Miami which coincidentally is where Paul travels to access his treatment. A favourite place of Paul’s when staying in Miami is Coconut Grove. Scott thought it seemed appropriate to use that as the starting point for his ride.

The route from Coconut Grove to the lighthouse at Key Biscayne is approximately 15 miles and Scott is hoping to do as many laps as he can.

Paul’s endless positivity and bravery in the face of this disease, and his ‘never-give-up’ attitude has been an inspiration to Scott and has given him great motivation for this challenge
